Policies at Quintessence

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee.

No-shows — clients who do not arrive or notify us in advance — will be charged the full-service fee.

We understand that life is unpredictable. Last-minute cancellations due to verifiable emergencies, sudden illness, or severe weather will be reviewed with compassion and are subject to practitioner discretion.

A credit card number is required at the time of booking. By signing the Client Agreement, you acknowledge that the credit card provided to secure your appointment will be charged for any and all late cancellations or no-shows.

Late Arrival Policy

Out of respect for all clients, appointments begin and end at their scheduled times. Clients who arrive late will be seen for the remaining time only and will be charged the full session fee.

Please note that street parking is available nearby — we recommend allowing a few extra minutes to find a spot.

For your first appointment, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete your Client Intake Form.

For all subsequent appointments, please arrive 5 minutes early so you can settle in, and begin your session feeling relaxed and unhurried.

Pregnancy Massage is available to clients in their second or third trimester

Session Termination Policy

Quintessence provides professional massage and bodywork services for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. Any inappropriate conduct will result in the immediate termination of the session. This includes but is not limited to harassment, threatening behavior or language, sexual advances or requests, and disrespectful actions of any kind.

Sessions will not be conducted if a client appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Full payment for the scheduled session is required regardless of the reason for termination.

All clients must be 18 years of age or older to receive services at Quintessence.
